ILOILO – As of March 4, 149,340 residents here have received booster shots against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), data from the Provincial Health Office (PHO) showed.
These residents were from the following areas:
* Ajuy (2,461), Alimodian (3,219), Anilao (1,875), Badiangan (3,362), Balasan (2,296), Banate (2,099), Barotac Nuevo (3,432), Barotac Viejo (1,181), Batad (979), Bingawan (1,457), Cabatuan (4,680), Calinog (4,180), Carles (2,911), Pass City (2,960), Concepcion (3,342), Dingle )3,680), Dueñas (4,722), Dumangas (3,627), Estancia (1,453),
* Guimbal (1,386), Igbaras (2,746), Lambunao (4,637), Leganes (3,524), Lemery (2,665), Leon (3,320), Maasin (2,199), Miag-ao (5,167), Mina (1,946), New Lucena (1,759), Oton (9,190), Pavia (7,432), Pototan (7,031), San Dionisio (2,887), San Enrique (2,712), San Joaquin (3,386), San Miguel (1,967), San Rafael (1,362), Santa Barbara (4,581), Sara (2,930), Tigbauan (4,771), Tubungan (1,570), Zarraga (5,222), and Iloilo PHO (6,306).
According to Dr. Maria Socorro Colmenares-Quiñon, PHO chief, there is a huge gab in the number of those who have received booster shots and those who have not.
