ILOILO City – Two high-value drug suspects were arrested for allegedly carrying 10 plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 140 grams and valued at approximately P952,000 in Barangay Cagbang, Oton, Iloilo.
Aliases “Dennis”, 42, and “Tol”, 37, both residents of the aforementioned village, were caught by operatives of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 6 in a buy-bust operation around 3:27 p.m. on Friday, August 2.
Also recovered were buy-bust money and two cellular phones.
The suspects are currently under police custody. They are facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
