NegOcc, Bacolod still on Alert Level 3

BACOLOD City – This city and the province of Negros Occidental remain on Alert Level 3, based on the new data released by the Department of Health (DOH) in Western Visayas.

There’s an increase in the coronavirus disease 2019’s Average Daily Attack Rate (ADAR) for both the province and the city.

Negros Occidental’s ADAR rose to 2.73 from last week’s 1.90, while Bacolod jumped to 8.55 from 7.82 last week.

Negros Occidental’s risk classification also remained at “moderate risk” while Bacolod still “high risk.”

However, the overall healthcare utilization rate (HCUR) remained at “low risk” for both areas with Negros Occidental’s utilization rate at 51.82 percent and this city at 44.58 percent./PN
