BACOLOD City – The Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees (PACE) requested Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson to release the anniversary bonus of more than 3,000 employees of the provincial government of Negros Occidental.
In a letter dated May 24, PACE chairman Renelo Lastierre said the release of the bonus is in accord with Provincial Ordinance No. 006 series of 2011 and Department of Budget and Management Circular No. 65.
The anniversary bonus is released every five years to all government officials and employees, Lastierre added.
Each capitol employee is entitled to a P3,000 anniversary bonus.
The last time the bonus was granted by the provincial government was back in 2017.
“This year 2022 falls on the fifth year Capitol last granted it,” Lastierre said./PN
