BACOLOD City – Each employee of the provincial government of Negros Occidental is expected to receive P3,000 anniversary bonus.
Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, provincial administrator, said the bonus is given every five years in line with the founding anniversary of the province
An existing provincial ordinance is the basis for the bonus covering permanent and casual employees.
On March 10, 1917, both Occidental Negros and Oriental Negros became provinces under the American civil government through Act 2711./PN
