BACOLOD City – An additional 10,000 testing kits for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) will be delivered tomorrow for the Teresita Jalandoni Provincial Hospital (TLJPH) molecular laboratory’s use in Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Mel Feliciano, Inter-Agency Task Force-Visayas chief deputy implementer, announced this during a recent meeting with provincial government officials and representatives of local government units in the 3rd District.
Board Member Ryan Gamboa said Feliciano also discussed ways to improve contact tracing, testing and containment systems.
Feliciano pointed out the importance of generating real-time data and reporting, Gamboa said.
The cities of Talisay and Silay continue to have a high number of coronavirus cases in the province./PN
