SIGMA, Capiz – A 40-year-old native of Barangay Bunga, Don Salvador in Negros Occidental was stabbed by a backhoe operator in Sitio Katamnan, Barangay Parian here.
Victim Rosalino Taboco, who works as a foreman, sustained multiple stabbed wounds on the body. He is still recuperating at a private hospital.
Sigma police said Taboco was sleeping inside their bunkhouse when he was awakened by the suspect identified as backhoe operator Vicente Estita, 48, of Igbaras, Iloilo.
A heated argument then ensued between the two. This prompted the suspect to stab the victim multiple times, police said.
