NegOcc SP to discuss CNA for capitol employees

BACOLOD City – The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) of Negros Occidental will hold discussions over the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) submitted by the Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees (PACE) to the office of Gov. Eugenio Lacson.

The CNA of PACE, which is set to expire on Dec. 3, 2023, provides benefits to capitol employees, including incentives of P25,000 at the end of the year.

Ruben Diamante, the newly-appointed PACE chairman, said one of his goals for the union is to restore trust, transparency, and communication to address the concerns of employees.

Meanwhile, Lacson said the provincial government always looks after the welfare of its employees.

The governor also expects the new officials to protect the rights of capitol employees and fulfill their responsibilities as union officials effectively. (Watchmen Daily Journal)/PN
