BACOLOD City – Cases of theft from Jan. 1 to June 6 this year were higher than the cases recorded in the same period in 2021, data from the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) showed.
There were 42 cases during that period last year; there were 55 this year.
Talisay City had the most number of theft cases at 13; it had six last year.
Here are the other cases: Kabankalan City (six), Silay City (five); La Carlota City, San Carlos City and Hinigaran (four each); Isabela (three); Bago City, Victorias City, Cauayan, San Enrique, and Ilog (two each) each; and Cadiz City, Hinoba-an, Pulupandan, Murcia, and Don Salvador Benedicto (one each).
