BACOLOD City – A theft suspect from Silay City, Negros Occidental was served with an arrest warrant while being detained at the Iloilo City District Jail – Male Dormitory in Barangay Ungka, Jaro, Iloilo City.
The Silay City police station’s warrant and subpoena section served the warrant of arrest to Cristobal Parreño, 26, a resident of Sitio Beranio, Barangay Lantad, Silay City around 10 a.m. on June 3.
Judge Kathryn Rose Hitalia-Baliatan of the Municipal Trial Court in San Joaquin, Iloilo issued the arrest warrant on March 15, 2021.
The suspect has been detained since Dec. 11, 2020 for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002)./PN
