ILOILO City – A native of Negros Occidental was caught in a buy-bust operation in Guimaras.
The 33-year-old Joverstone Guilaran of Sitio Pangpang, Barangay Poblacion, Bago City, Negros Occidental was detained at the police station of San Lorenzo, Guimaras around 4 p.m. on Nov. 22.
The sting operation was carried out in Barangay M. Chavez, San Lorenzo where Guilaran was temporarily residing.
Guilaran sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover police officer for P500.
Cops seized from him another sachet.
The suspect faces a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
