BACOLOD City — A man was shot to death at a resort in Barangay Tibsoc, San Enrique, Negros Occidental on Valentine’s Day.
Ryan Villanueva, 33, of Barangay 1, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental sustained gunshot wounds on the head and body, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, Villanueva was in a room with his live-in partner and friend when five unidentified suspects barged in and fired at the victim.
Police recovered from the scene 24 empty shells of a .45-caliber pistol and a sachet of suspected marijuana among others.
Officers of San Enrique municipal police station were still investigating the identity of the suspects and the motive in the killing./PN
