Negros downs Iloilo in private college football

JUST like in the secondary level, Negros Occidental also stamped class over Iloilo in the 2018 WVPRISAA tertiary football finals at the Iloilo Sports Complex in Iloilo City.

Negros swept its two matches against Iloilo ā€“ a 2-1 win on Tuesday and a 2-0 domination on Wednesday ā€“ to clinch the title and the chance to represent Western Visayas in the National PRISAA in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

Mentored by Norman Fegidero Jr., Negros includes Vann Llyod Baguioro, Charles Ivan Barberan, Ramie Dizon, Tristan Kit Robles, Jo Warren Bedia, Kent and Klent Guevarra, Randee Temana Jr., John Mark Jamelo, and Charles Ralph Allan Dabao.

Also in the team are Regie Brenn Cisneros, Mark Samuel Jadloc, Kjay Gedor, Kenneth Paul Infante, Rio Ian Perez, and Ashli Mark Pamilar, Jemel Carbon, and Argie Mar dela Cruz.

But in tertiary badminton Negros and Iloilo shared honors.

Negros menā€™s team swept Iloilo in the finals behind Kerr and Kenneth Longno, Clifford and Jaylord Nicor, and Earl Joseph Carballo.

They are handled by coaches Jordan Sun, Ernesto Layao Jr. and Carlos Hojilla.

Meanwhile the Ilonggas earned their ticket to the National PRISAA after defeating Negros./PN
