BACOLOD City – Police have yet to determine the motive in a shooting incident in Barangay Bulado, Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental.
Habal-habal driver Remegio Marco Arquillos, 35, was shot to death around 1:05 p.m. on Friday, a police report showed.
Aquillos – a resident of Barangay Binobohan, Guihulngan City – was shot four times by an unidentified suspect who flagged him down while driving his RUSI 175 motorcycle with two passengers on board.
The suspect was on board a Bajaj motorcycle wearing a black jacket with hood and a mask, police said.
It was not clear if the two passengers whose names were not immediately available were hurt. But police said they alighted from the Aquillos’ motorcycle when the suspected started shooting.
The suspect then fled and remains at large as of this writing. A police manhunt was launched./PN
