ILOILO City – Police caught a resident of Silay City, Negros Occidental in an antidrug operation in Barangay Zamora-Melliza, City Proper.
The 42-year-old Christopher Bermejo of Barangay Giunhalaran, Silay City was arrested around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, a police report showed.
Bermejo was caught after he sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover officer for P1,000, the report added. He was on board his Honda Civic car when he did the transaction, police said.
When frisked, 18 more sachets of shabu contained in a black pouch were recovered from Bermejo.
He was detained in the lockup facility of Police Station 1.
