BACOLOD City – Charged with murder, two men were arrested in separate operations in Negros Occidental.
The suspects were identified as the 47-year-old Bernard “Nonoy” Quiachon of Barangay Tabunan, Bago City and 23-year-old Melvin “Negro” Malihan of Barangay Maytubig, Isabela.
Both of them were arrested on Monday.
Quiachon was caught around 7 a.m. in Sitio Cabura, Barangay Tabunan on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Frances Guanzon of the Regional Trial Court Branch 62 in Bago City on Aug. 9, 2016.
Malihan, on the other hand, was nabbed around 8:40 a.m. at Hacienda Noning in Barangay Maytubig on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Mila Yap-Camiso of the Regional Trial Court Branch 63 in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental on Aug. 16, 2018.
Quiachon and Malihan were detained.
No bail bonds were recommended for their temporary liberty./PN
