BACOLOD City – He was listed as the No. 5 most wanted person in Negros Occidental, police said.
The 48-year-old Emmanuel Medes was arrested in Barangay Hilamonan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Medes – resident of Barangay 3, Kabankalan City – was caught on Tuesday on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Fernando Elumba of the Regional Trial Court Branch 61 in Kabankalan issued on June 4, 2013.
The warrant was issued in relation to a murder charge that Medes faces.
Medes was detained at the Kabankalan City police station lockup facility.
The court recommended no bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
