BACOLOD City – The Negros Showroom of the Association of Negros Producers (ANP) sees more sales with the arrival of visitors and tourists for the 37th MassKara Festival on Oct. 21-23.
ANP administrative and external affairs manager, SybelNobleza, said they cater to more local and foreign tourist-buyers during the MassKara Festival.
Through the showroom, the festival has become a time for local producers to attract more buyers and generate more sales, she added.
“We want to show that the Negros Showroom is highly-recommended to the tourists, including government officials,” Nobleza said.
Among the prominent personalities who have visited the showroom since last week were Misamis Oriental governor Yevgeny Vicente Emano; Magalang City, Pampanga mayor MalouLacson and Vice Mayor Norman Lacson; and Ilocos Sur 1st District Rep. Victor DeograciasSavellano and wife, actress Dina Bonnevie.
Bestsellers include the mother-and-child wall decor of Jojo Vito, souvenirs, key chains and MassKara T-shirts of Azatri Souvenirs, Chizyloy and Liane Souvenirs, piaya and barquillos of Sugarlandia, and fashion accessories of Saturn Arts.
“The Negros Showroom is a highly recommended store for everyone when it comes to souvenirs, giveaways, gifts, decors, housewares, furniture, furnishing, foods, and natural and organic products,” Nobleza said, adding that Bonnevie has even commended the Negrense products, particularly its beautiful handicrafts.(PNA)
