ILOILO City – A resident of Barangay Sinikway, La Paz district complained to the police that his pet cat was injured.
The 28-year-old John Ivan Nieva believed his neighbor hurt his pet, a police report showed.
According to Nieva, he was about to feed his pet cat at around 7 a.m. on May 26 when he found that its feet were wounded.
The night prior, Nieva said he and neighbor Francisco Chrispospolo, 60, had a misunderstanding over the pet.
“Patyon ko kuring mo! Patyon ko gid na sila (I will kill your pet cat! I will kill all of them),” Nieva quoted Chrispospolo as saying, the police report stated. (Mariane Camell Braseliño, Intern/PN)
