BACOLOD City – Two men landed in the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital after their nephew shot them.
Bernardo Alcobar, 41, and Efipanio Brande-ase, 60, both residents of Barangay Tigbon, Calatrava, Negros Occidental, had a misunderstanding with a drunken Jonilito Rayna, 48, of the same village, said Chief Inspector John Joel Batusbatusan, municipal police chief.
Arguments led Rayna to fire at his uncles around 6:40 p.m. on Monday, Batusbatusan said.
Alcobar was hit on the thigh and Brande-ase, on the palm.
Rayna was arrested and detained in the Calatrava police station custodial jail./PN
