ILOILO City – A barangay councilwoman of Ortiz, City Proper accused a nephew of defaming her in public.
According to Ma. Teresa Yiu, 57, Arnold Aldea berated her at a dead neighbor’s wake in front of many people.
Yiu told the police she tried to ignore Aldea but he did not stop.
Thankfully, Yiu said, a fellow village council member, Roy Mercado, made Aldea shut up./PN
