ILOILO City – A new director will be heading the Department of Agriculture (DA) Region 6 effective July 1, 2023.
DA Senior Undersecretary Domingo Panganiban, in a special order, designated Dennis Arpia as new regional executive director (RED) of DA-6 replacing officer-in-charge (OIC) RED Jose Albert Barrogo.
“All officials and employees of the department including its bureaus, attached agencies and corporations, and regional field offices are hereby advised of this designation and directed to give their fill support and cooperation to RED Arpia in the performance of his duties and responsibilities,” read part of Special Order No. 693-2023 signed by Panganiban.
Arpia served as RED of DA Zamboanga Peninsula, OIC RED of DA SOCCKSARGEN and assistant regional director for operations of DA CALABARZON.
Meanwhile, Barrogo will remain with DA-6 as regional executive director for operations based on a separate special order./PN
