BACOLOD City – The new Land Transportation Office (LTO) facility in Sitio Manayawsayaw, Barangay Mansilingan will be formally turned over today.

LTO-Bacolod chief Renato Novero said among the visitors expected are LTO chief Jose Arturo Tugade and Department of Transportation (DOTr) undersecretary Mark Steven Pastor.

Also attending the turnover ceremony are Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson and Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez.

The new P33-million LTO-Bacolod facility is located on a one-hectare property of the provincial government of Negros Occidental.

It features an impounding area and parking space larger compared to its previous site on Cottage Road, Lacson Street.

Meanwhile, the old LTO facility will be reconstructed into a multi-use building, possibly the CyberCentre 2./PN
