ILOILO City – He was listed as the No. 5 most wanted person in the municipal police station of New Lucena, Iloilo.
The 30-year-old Jimmy Cornita was caught in Barangay Cabiluan, New Lucena around 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 7, a police report showed.
Cornita – resident of Barangay Wari-wari, also in New Lucena – faces homicide charges.
His apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Redentor Esperanza of the Regional Trial Court Branch 22.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station.
The court recommended a P120,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
