New Strada conquers longest white beach in PH at San Vicente, Palawan

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) invited a group of journalists to test the New Strada as it conquers San Vicente, Palawan and discover the road to an emerging tourist destination in the country.

Driving 175 kilometers from MMPC’s Puerto Princesa Palawan dealership – Maximotors Corp. to Club Agutaya in San Vicente, Palawan, the journalists had the opportunity to personally experience the improved performance of the New Strada. The long drive provided a feel of driving within different terrains from flat open highways to steep and tight twisty roads which allowed the New Strada to boast a comfortable ride and handling.

San Vicente, Palawan was the perfect destination for the drive because apart from allowing the group to experience driving in different terrains, San Vicente sits as an amazing backdrop for the New Strada’s aggressive and futuristic look, thanks to the latest iteration of the Dynamic Shield Design. San Vicente which is a first-class municipality on the northwestern side of Palawan is also the place for the longest white beach in the Philippines spanning 14.7 kilometers.

To make the trip even more meaningful, MMPC took the opportunity to do a simple Mangrove planting activity in an effort to give back to the environment. The activity was assisted by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office. The importance of mangroves to the ecosystem was also explained.
