BACOLOD City – Yesterday morning, an abandoned baby was found in the lobby of the San Sebastian Cathedral in this city.
According to Police Station 1, church choir member “Rona” initially discovered a yellow-colored bag in one of the seats. Upon closer inspection, she found a baby boy inside it.
The baby still has its umbilical cord.
“Rona” immediately alerted church members and sought police assistance.
The baby was turned over to the city’s Department of Social Services and Development. (Watchmen Daily Journal)
