BACOLOD City – Police arrested a newly identified drug suspect in Purok 9, Barangay 9, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
The 34-year-old resident Roel Gildo was nabbed around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday after he allegedly sold shabu to an undercover police officer for P400.
Recovered from Gildo’s possession were four sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P5,000, a cellphone, P300 cash believed to be proceeds from illegal drug transactions, and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Gildo was detained in the lockup cell of the Victorias City police station.
He was facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
