ILOILO City – A man who recently got married was nabbed on Cabarles Street, Leon, Iloilo.
Del Mark Gonzaga, 28, of Barangay Barusong, Tigbauan, Iloilo was facing two counts of rape, a police report showed.
His apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant around 2 p.m. on Nov. 30.
According to police investigation, Gonzaga committed the crime in Nueva Valencia, Guimaras sometime in 2011.
The suspect was brought to the Nueva Valencia municipal police station where he was detained.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
