Benitez shared the position with Iloilo 5th District congressman Raul “Boboy” Tupas and Antique Lone District congressman Antonio Legarda Jr.
Cong. Juliet Marie Ferrer of the 4th District was No. 5 with an 86 percent rating, followed by 2nd District congressman Alfredo “Thirdy” Marañon III who placed sixth with an 85 percent rating.
Cong. Mercedes “Cheding” Alvarez-Lansang of the 6th District was No. 8 with an 82 percent rating, while Bacolod City’s Cong. Greg Gasataya was No. 10 with an 80 percent job performance rating.
Dr. Paul Martinez, executive director of RPMD, said the ratings and rankings were determined by the solons’ constituents based on the following factors: representation, legislation, and constituent service.
The RPMD “Boses ng Bayan” survey was conducted between Nov. 27 and Dec. 2, 2022, and is a non-commissioned nationwide survey per district in every region with a total of 10,000 respondents who were asked, “Do you approve or disapprove of the way [name of District Representative] is handling his/her job as Congressman/Congresswoman?”.
RPMD added that its margin of error is plus or minus one percent./PN
