BACOLOD City – A night market is seen to accommodate vendors unable to secure stalls at the Libertad Market’s Annex Building.

The city government is engaging with the vendors to create a comprehensive set of guidelines after the Sangguniang Panlungsod passed a resolution on this last week.

Amelia and Mercedes streets will be the designated spaces for the night market, scheduled to operate from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily.

Strict regulations will be implemented outside the designated areas of the night market to avoid traffic congestion.

To recall, more than 280 vendors were affected by the clearing operation at the Libertad Market. Due to the limited space at the Annex Building, the stalls were raffled off to the vendors./PN
