ILOILO City – The City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) apprehended nine individuals in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Desamparados, Jaro district, at around 2 p.m. on Dec. 5.
The operation also led to the confiscation of around 120 grams of suspected shabu valued at P816,000.
Suspect Josias Jamelo Gregori, 47, was identified as the main target.
Also apprehended were:
1. Eduardo Villosa Gayoso, 44, of Barangay Sinikway, Lapuz
2. Christian Labordo Jamandre, 28
3. Kerwin Jeron, 18
4. Raymond Paguntalan of Barangay Tabuc Suba, Jaro
5. Francis Hebionada, 35
6. Carlos Bitonga of Barangay Tabuc Suba
7. Devie Obapial, 34, of Barangay Desamparados; and
8. Paterno Orlando of Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao
The buy-bust was led by Lieutenant Colonel Antonio Binetez Jr., head of CDEU, together with members of the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team led by Captain Roque Gemino III./PN
