ILOILO – Pavia’s No. 1 drug suspect was arrested yesterday morning in the town’s Purok 4, Barangay Cabugao Norte.
The 38-year-old Neil Solen was caught by joint operatives of the Pavia Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Iloilo Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit.
Police Major Dadje Delima, chief of the Pavia MPS, said Solen fled when authorities entered his house to serve the search warrant. He was collared at his neighbor’s comfort room.
Police seized 10 big sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P40,000.
Also recovered were a grenade, a 12-gauge homemade shotgun, a digital weighing scale, and drug paraphernalia.
The suspect was detained at the Pavia MPS, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
