ROXAS City – The No. 20 most wanted person in Capiz province was arrested on Jan. 8 in Olongapo City.
Kim Tae Hyeong, a 36-year-old male Korean national, has been charged with large-scale illegal recruitment, a violation under Republic Act 8042 (Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act of 1995).
Temporarily residing in Barangay San Agustin, Castillejos, Zambales, Hyeong was served with a warrant of arrest issued on Nov. 27, 2020 by Judge Ignacio Alajar of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 18 in Roxas City.
No bailbond was recommended for his temporary liberty.
The arrest warrant was served at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology prison facilty in Olongapo City where Hyeong was detained since June 29, 2020 for a separate case of illegal recruitment.
This most recent second arrest of the suspect for his case in Roxas City was carried out by Roxas policemen in cooperation with the Castillejos police station./PN
