ILOILO – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has yet to identify “huge” drug personalities or groups in Western Visayas.

Atty. Bomrad Soc Abonado, PDEA Region 6 spokesperson, said that although old and new suspects are arrested in drug operations, they have not monitored newly established drug groups.

He added that there are no illegal drug laboratories in the region, and the supplies entering are from other regions.

“Mostly ang estoryahanay naton sa mga kaupod naton nga mga law enforcement agencies, transportation ang pinaka-source nila,” Abonado said in an interview with Bombo Radyo Iloilo.

He added: “Mabudlay magpatindog sang laboratory because kinanlan mo ipasulod ang chemist. Syempre kinanlan mo mag bakal sang raw materials te gina-monitor man ina sang aton other law enforcement agencies,”/PN
