BACOLOD City – The family of an old man who allegedly committed suicide in Barangay Tiniongan, Isabela, Negros Occidental believes that there was no foul play in his death, a police report showed.
The 66-year-old Alfredo Tabanao Sr. was discovered lifeless by his son Andie at their house around 2 p.m. on Monday, the report further stated.
According to the police, Tabanao sustained slit wounds on the neck and left wrist.
Recovered from the crime scene were a scythe and a sharpening stone that the police believed Tabanao used to kill himself.
