SAN JOSE, Antique – The Commission on Elections conducted final testing and sealing of vote counting machines (VCM) in the province.

Comelec provincial supervisor Wil Arceño said on Friday everything went well during the final testing and sealing done by the Board of Election Inspectors (BEIs) assigned in the different polling precincts in Antique’s 18 towns.

“There were no major problems that happened, except only in Culasi town. There was one precinct that was found to have a defective SD card,” Arceño said.

He noted a replacement will be sent from the poll agency’s regional hub in Iloilo City.

The Comelec provincial office received the VCMs last Tuesday and immediately distributed the machines to each polling precincts. (With a report from PNA/PN)
