CAPIZ – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in Western Visayas warns the public against the alleged recruitment activity in Capiz for those who want to be listed as beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).
The regional office received reports about the said recruitment recently. Thus, it issued an advisory clarifying that DSWD does not distribute 4Ps “membership registration forms” and most of all, it does not accept payment in exchange for this 4Ps membership.
The department further emphasized that for a household to be included in the program, they must be listed under Listahan or the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) and must meet the guidelines set by the program.
“Nililinaw ng DSWD na walang membership registration form na ipinakakalat ang ahensya lalo na walang hinihinging bayad kapalit para makapasok o maging miyembro ng 4Ps,” it stressed.
DSWD added: “Para makapasok ang isang household sa programa, dapat nasa lista sila ng Listahanan at kuwalipikado sa pamantayan ng programa. Suriin ng mabuti kung lehitimo na programa ang inyong sinasalihan at iwasan na ibahagi ang mga detalyeng personal.”
