ILOILO City – There is no reshuffling of provincial and city police directors in Western Visayas, according to Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) director, Police Brigadier General Sidney Villaflor.
However, their performance and accomplishments are being monitored and evaluated, stressed Villaflor.
“Sa ngayon walang reshuffling sa mga commanders natin kasi ang iba ay kakaupo pa lang. Pero we will monitor and evaluate their performance and those who have poor performance will be relieved,” he added.
He also reminded provincial and city directors and police station chiefs not to be involved in illegal drugs, illegal gambling and other illegal activities that would damage the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Villaflor added that performing police officers would be awarded, but the lazy will be sanctioned.
Earlier, the region’s top cop said he will intensify internal cleansing and police scalawags have no place in the PRO-6.
“We have to conduct monitoring sa mga activities ng ating pulis. Dapat maging tapat tayo sa ating tungkulin at marunong makuntento sa sweldo,” he said.
He also ordered a maximized deployment of police personnel and for cops to coordinate with barangay officials in the peace and order campaign./PN
