JORDAN, Guimaras – Mayor Ruben Corpuz of Jordan, Guimaras explained that No vaccine, No entry policy was not implemented at Jordan Food Terminal Market at Barangay San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras.
According to Corpuz, the COVID-19 Task Force only implemented the wearing of face masks, observing social distancing of people entering the market and the task force also prevents minors to enter the market.
“The COVID-19 Task Force does not implement the no vaccine, no entry in DGM-FTM or at Jordan Food Terminal Market. The COVID-19 Prevention Team implemented strict wearing of face mask, no minors allowed and social distancing,” Corpuz explained.
Maybe some constituents misinterpret the survey COVID-19 Task Force asking, if they are vaccinated or not.
“Gina-survey man naton ang mga nagakadto sa merkado nga vaccinated individuals, amo gani ginapamangkot naton ang mga pumuluyo kung sila may yara nga vaccination card. Ini tanan ginaubra naton para mabatuan ang COVID-19,” Corpuz added.
Corpuz explained that the purpose of the survey is to know if there are still individuals in Jordan that are unvaccinated, so they can make solutions or steps to encourage people to get vaccinated.
