BACOLOD – The director of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO), along with 10 other police chiefs in the province, were reshuffled over the weekend.
NOCPPO director Police Colonel Romy Palgue was relieved from his post effective early Sunday morning. Palgue was replaced by Police Colonel Leo Pamitan, previously the officer-in-charge of the Capiz Police Provincial Office.
The relief order for Palgue is part of the ongoing reshuffling inside the Police Regional Office-6.
As for the police chiefs, Police Lieutenant Colonel Arthur Baybayan was relieved from his post as chief of police in San Carlos City and he is being replaced by Police Lt. Colonel Jesus Mesahon Jr.
In Himamaylan City, Police Lieutenant Colonel Reynante Jomomacan will replace Police Lieutenant Colonel Romeo Vargas.
In Victorias City, Police Lieutenant Colonel Eduardo Corpuz was relieved from his post and he was replaced by Police Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Fajardo Jr.
In the town of Cauayan, Police Major Roberto Indiape Jr., will replace outgoing town police chief, Police Lieutenant Colonel Norberto Barniso.
In the town of Hinigaran Police Major Jake Barila was relieved and replaced by Police Captain Ryan Villasario.
In the town of Calatrava, Police Major Joevito Bose will replace Indiape.
In La Carlota City, Police Lieutenant Colonel Jonel Guadalupe was replaced by Police Lieutenant Colonel Lowell Garinganao.
Guadalupe was reassigned to the Sagay City Police Station replacing Police Lieutenant Colonel Albert Sy.
Meanwhile, former Cadiz City police chief Police Lt. Colonel Rocky Desear was reassigned as police chief of Escalante City.
Replacing Desear in Cadiz City is Police Lt. Colonel Gil John Despi, who assumed the post as Officer-in-Charge/PN
