BACOLOD City – The director of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) is set to hand over the reins of the provincial police force soon following a stellar performance.
In an assessment given by Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson, Colonel Leo Pamittan’s performance as provincial police director has been excellent.
NOCPPO was recognized as the Best Police Provincial Office nationwide last year with a rating of 92.33%.
Lacson is hoping that Pamittan’s successor will either continue or even exceed the outgoing provincial police chief’s performance.
Although Pamittan’s successor has yet to be named, Lacson vowed that the provincial government will continue supporting the Philippine National Police.
Pamittan became NOCPPO’s director in January 2022. (Watchmen Daily Journal)/PN
