AKLAN – Officers of the Kalibo Municipal Police Station (MPS) arrested a notorious suspected thief on Roxas Avenue in Kalibo town on Wednesday, June 26.
The 50-year-old alias “Jonard,” a resident of Barangay Kasing-kasing, Molo, Iloilo City, worked at an aluminum glass center.
Recovered from his possession were several items he allegedly stole from an establishment on M. Laserna Street in Kalibo.
According to Major Willian Aguirre of the Kalibo MPS, Jonard was also the suspect in the robbery of a logistics and forwarding company in Barangay Bulwang, Numancia town on June 20.
Aguirre added that the suspect also faces robbery charges in Jaro and Molo districts in Iloilo City.
The suspect was detained at the Kalibo MPS for proper disposition./PN
