BACOLOD City – A notorious theft suspect was arrested during a police antidrug operation in Manapla, Negros Occidental.
Edgar Gramonte Jr., 20, was collared in Barangay I-A around 9:40 a.m. on Saturday, July 1.
Three plastic sachets of suspected shabu and a .38 caliber with ammunition were seized from Gramonte.
Police Major Jaynick Bermudez, station commander of Manapla police, said Gramonte was also a hold-up suspect.
Gramonte is facing charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and RA 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
