KALIBO, Aklan – A construction worker was nabbed in a drug-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion, Numancia, Aklan.
He was 22-year-old resident Hilberto Reyes, police said.
Reyes was caught in an entrapment operation after he sold two sachets of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P8,000, the police added.
Personnel of the Aklan Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Numancia municipal police staged the operation around 5 p.m. on July 26.
Aside from the suspected shabu, a cellphone was also seized.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against Reyes. (With Akean Forum/PN)
