ROXAS City – A nursing attendant was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Tanza.
The 35-year-old Alex Anthony Agdalipe of Barangay Loctugan yielded 3 sachets of suspected shabu, a police report showed.
He was nabbed after he allegedly sold illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P500 around 4:55 p.m. on May 21, it added.
According to Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency agent Janette Reyes, Agdalipe works as a nursing attendant at the Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital.
“Ang suspect ang nagasuplay sang ilegal nga droga sa mismo mga empleyado sang ospital nga naga-duty sang graveyard shift,” said Reyes.
Agdalipe was detained in the lockup cell of the Roxas City police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him./PN
