BACOLOD City – The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) has appointed a new officer-in-charge for the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO).
PRO-6 director, Police Brigadier General Rene Pamuspusan issued an order appointing Police Colonel Romy Palgue as NOCPPO’s officer-in-charge.
Palgue’s appointment came after the June 6 exit of incumbent provincial director Police Colonel Romeo Baleros.
Pamuspusan said Palgue’s designation came directly from Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police General Archie Gamboa.
Baleros will reach the PNP’s mandatory retirement age of 56 when he celebrates his birthday on June 6.
The incumbent NOPPO director served in Negros Occidental for about one year and a half.
A turnover of command at the NOCPPO headquarters was set this week. Pamuspusan is expected to lead the ceremony./PN
