ILOILO City – A police officer and a woman companion were injured in a vehicular crash on Saturday.
The motorcycle that Police Officer 1 Bonie Agustin and Janice Alejo were riding collided into a Toyota Avanza multipurpose vehicle in Barangay Botong, Oton, Iloilo.
Agustin, who was part of the Metro Boracay Task Force, and Alejo, a resident of Barangay Q. Abeto, Mandurriao district, were confined in The Medical City hospital in Molo.
The crash happened while the victims were headed to this city at around 8 a.m., a police report stated.
Because of the impact, the two were thrown off the motorcycle. A tricycle running the opposite direction then hit them, police said.
