ILOILO City – An overseas Filipino worker (OFW) charged with frustrated murder was arrested in Barangay Igtuba, Miag-ao, Iloilo.
Maverick Orteque, 22, of Barangay Mat-y, Miag-ao was caught around 3 p.m. on June 9, police said.
His apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Nelita Jesus-Bacaling of the Regional Trial Court Branch 67.
Orteque was detained in the custodial facility of the Miag-ao police station.
The court recommended a P200,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
