Oil firms cut prices of LPG

OIL companies implemented a big-time price rollback on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) on Saturday, April 1.

Petron and Phoenix LPG slashed LPG prices by P9.20 per kilogram, while Solane said it cut LPG prices by P9.18 per kilogram.

The adjustments translated to a decrease of P100.98 to P101.20 for an 11-kilogram household LPG cylinder.

Prices of AutoLPG also declined by P5 per liter for Cleanfuel, P5.14 per liter for Petron, and P5.15 per liter for Phoenix.

“These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of April,” Petron said.

The price adjustments reflected the movement of gas prices in the international market for this month.

As of February, household LPG prices in Metro Manila ranged from P934 to P1,118 per 11-kilogram cylinder. (PNA)/PN
