MANILA – After a round of rollback, the pump prices of petroleum products are set for a hike this week, Unioil Petroleum Philippines said.
In its fuel price forecast from April 6 to 12 trading week, Unioil said the price per liter of diesel may go up by P0.60.
Gasoline prices, meanwhile, may increase between P0.05 and P0.10 per liter.
Fuel companies usually announce price adjustments every Monday to be effective on the next day.
Effective March 30, oil firms implemented a price rollbacks on gasoline by P1.20 per liter and on diesel by P1.30 per liter.
Prevailing pump prices in Metro Manila range from P41.50 to P54.80 per liter for gasoline and P35.10 to P41.95 per liter for diesel.
Year-to-date adjustments to stand at total net increase of P6.15 per liter for gasoline and P4.60 per liter for diesel.(GMA News)
